Once again this sold out event delighted the masses with an incredible line up. The weather could not dampen the spirits of the 5,000 strong crowd as they danced in the rain to the hits of Big Country, 10CC and the SAS Band with guests including Patti Russo, Hamish Stuart and Fish.
This auspicious event was the inaugural event for NoNonsense’s Apollo roof. Constructed from aluminium extrusion, the 15m roof provided a weight loading of 1.5 tonnes per arch much to the delight of industry veteran Phil Freeman. As usual he created a stunning light display to complement the legendary bands performing in the small Wiltshire village of All Cannings. The event also saw the Athena roof play host to up and coming local bands on the Evolution stage, the first performer being Hayd ‘n’ Bee, one half of the band being the daughter of John ‘Grubby’ Callis, one of the founders of this event.
The incredible team behind the event, including many volunteers from the village and the surrounding area, have raised an incredible total of £152,500 across the 5 events and plans are already well underway for the 2017 event…put Saturday 20 May in your diary as it’s guaranteed to be another sell out event.
