Steve ‘Jumbo’ Richards
Steve ‘Jumbo’ Richards has spent almost 40 years delivering temporary structures and stages for live events and large-scale productions across the UK and internationally.
A highly respected figure in the industry, Steve is known for his practical understanding of complex temporary structures and his ability to turn ambitious creative and technical concepts into safe and buildable solutions. His expertise spans project management, site delivery, offsite manufacturing, quality control, coordinating suppliers and supervising onsite teams.
Working closely with clients from planning through to delivery, ensuring every project is carefully managed, accurately built and delivered to specification, on time and within agreed parameters. His calm, hands-on approach, combined with extensive knowledge of construction processes and live events, makes him a trusted partner for production managers, event organisers and specialist suppliers.
His career includes major national and international projects; tours with The Rolling Stones, Madonna, The Eagles and Elton John, London 2012 Olympics Ceremonies, Parklife, All Elite Wrestling, Labyrinth on the Thames and most recently a residency stage for OCESA at Mexico City’s flagship venue, GNP Seguros Stadium.
Across these projects, Steve was responsible for managing the delivery of complex build programmes, coordinating construction and design teams, working with subcontractors and suppliers.
Steve is passionate about sharing his experience with the next generation and allowing them to build a career in staging. He enjoys delivering hands-on training to crew both here in the UK and internationally.

Liz Madden
Liz Madden is a well-known and highly regarded figure in the live events industry, with more than 35 years’ experience supporting clients, brands and production teams through the successful delivery of complex projects.
With a strong focus on relationships, detail and delivery, Liz works closely with clients from the earliest stages of a project through to final sign off. Her hands-on approach has given her a broad understanding of the many moving parts involved in live events, from client management and supplier coordination to operational planning and onsite delivery.
Liz has worked across a wide range of event environments including roadshows, international product launches, hospitality programmes, sporting events and major live experiences.
Alongside her delivery experience, Liz has played an important role in the growth and development of several businesses, supporting business development activity across both UK and international markets. Her ability to build long-term relationships, identify opportunities and understand the needs of clients and suppliers has made her a valued contributor to the wider events sector.
Liz is regularly invited to contribute to industry discussions, panels and steering groups focused on the future of live events. She is currently the Co-Chair of the Production Services Association, sits on the board of LIVE, is involved in both the NOWIE and Elevate mentoring schemes and a strong supporter of Production Futures. In March 2026, Liz received the Access all Areas Legend award at the Event Production Awards, recognising her impressive career and contribution to the industry.
